Events

We do all kinds of interesting stuff at our lil shop. We are really involved with the  downtown Palo Alto community- this means putting together downtown events and events at local schools. Pretty much were down to be involved especially to heighten awareness of our unique recycled fashions we sell at our shop. Yeah, we love a good party and try to participate in as much as possible!

meet our foxy mannequin, Chanel. If she is outside- our shop is open for business!

This page is dedicated to those events we are at. If you are involved with something and want to know if we are willing to participate- just ask! We love helping students, designers, photographers, costumers and stylists alike. All we ask is that you provide the pictures and we’ll provide the fantastic vintage clothes! Check it out and holler if you want to do something with us!

This April we were involved in lots of Events. First we were involved in the West Coast’s largest fashion show- Charity Fashion Show. It was a huge venue at Fort Mason in San Francisco. There were over 20 designers, 60 models, and 1200 guests! How exciting! Designers included giants like The Gap, Antik Batik, Winter Kate ( Nicole Ritchies line), Frock LA and so much more! We of course drove up our vintage shop car to the event. We are considered an accessory designer- but we filled in all the shows needs- using all of our shops vintage clothing.

Blending in with the bog boys- our fashions were mind blowing. We rocked the runway, exhibiting high fashion mixed in with over half of the showing designers. I know, its breath taking to think we were part of that. The press coverage and reviews of this event was EPIC- read them here check out some pictures from the show below.

Next we rocked a fashion show at the local private girls school Castilleja. They girls borrowed many fashions and brought Earth Day to a whole new level of local awareness. They incorporated our vintage fashions into a runway show never seen before at the school! Way to go Charlotte and Jessica for pioneering this fashionable Casti event!

Next, we put together in Downtown Palo Alto at Lytton Square. In the heart of downtown- we teamed up with our friends at LiveGreene, VinoLocale,  and  the Palo Alto’s Business improvement District to create Palo Alto’s FIRST ever Earth Day Event on April 22, 2011. Wow… we sure put lots of planning into this super interesting event.

We had over 20 participants- including an exhibition of the Tesla electric cars, a composting enthusiast, and information about what you can do to be a greener citizen! We of course provided the photo booth with our friends at LAPhotobooth and a local artist Jessica Chan who we commissioned to paint our gorgeous backdrop. BE GREEN WEAR VINTAGE. These pictures are priceless, we always know Palo Alto is filled with enviormently friendly folk, now we have the pictures to prove it. I even met our towns Mayor Sid Espinoza as he opened this joyous event. We hope to have more fun stuff in downtown at Lytton Plaza- we all just have to join forces to make our town the best little green town in California and the U.S.A!
