October 27th, 2011 by TiffanyEach year we paint our shop’s window to read “COSTUME CENTRAL” for Halloween. We are soooo into the creative part of costuming… from the costume’s beginning idea- our whatever POPS out of our idea bank!
Then we blend all that with our one of a kind vintage clothing in our shop, topping it off with our selection of sunglasses and accessories! We boast vintage & new hats, gloves, leg warmers, suspenders, sporty knee socks and soo much more….

BRING on the Costumes! bring the madness!
Tis’ the season… of Costumes! We challenge you to come up with your best vintage halloween costume EVER! Recently we held a GREEN HALLOWEEN Costume Fashion Show at our uber cool pals shop LIVE GREENE on University Avenue in downtown PaloAlto.
Our Runway only showcases GREEN & VINTAGE DIY COSTUMES!
We got together our happy tribe of Vintage Costume renegades and dressed them up- using all vintage clothing from our shop!

Then We took our Protest to the Pop up Sprit Store on the University block. It was awesome because we think bagged costumes, well… suck.

We finally strolled down the street, chanting “BE GREEN- WEAR VINTAGE!” and made it to our runway and the Green Your Halloween party at LIVEGREENE. There were tons of peeps, including kids in costumes, a costume swap from our pal’s at The Costume Bank and food and local & organic wines from Vino Locale too!! Special thanks to our pals at Greennii and livegreene for organizing this event… it’s the second year and gettting bigger and bigger!!
David Greene of livegreene in Palo Alto has a modern eco friendly shop in Downtown! This is where we had the Green Halloween event!

July 8th, 2011 by TiffanyI cant believe it’s July! We are keeping cool, with our A/C on full blast! Since the Cali weather is treating us so well, we have been putting out lots of new summer items. The T-Shirt rack is off the chains with the 70’s-80’s selection of those infamous soft shirts and killer graphics. We also just got in a ladies shipment in of vintage cotton t shirts and tops.

The streets were alive with a fashion show of belly dancers and painted on clothing. Yes, sexxxy and fierce. Who knew San Jose was so down? We did… so that is why we just had to participate!

We decided to bring a teeny glimpse into our shops selection- so we brought an entire CASE of vintage sunglasses. Yes, we have them and vintage earrings.
